Today, we are going to talk about iPhone 6S rear camera doesn't work problem. An iPhone 6S rear camera stopped working because of water damaged, here is a solution.

Firstly, we try to fix it by replacing the iPhone camera.
- Use phone opening tools to disassemble the iPhone 6S
- Open the iPhone display assembly
- Remove the old iPhone rear camera
- Install the new iPhone rear camera
- Assemble the iPhone 6S
- Test the iPhone camera, still not working
Then, we going to repair iPhone motherboard.
- Disassemble the iPhone 6S again, take out the iPhone motherboard
- Put iPhone motherboard under the microscope to observe, we found the power supply 2.85V tube of iPhone rear camera has been burned
- Use tweezers to remove the 2.85V tube directly
- Login to ZXW online account to check iPhone 6S schematic diagram, we know that this IC is converted from the main power supply VCC_MAIN to 2.85V for iPhone rear camera
- After remove this chip, we found the main power supply pin has been burned
- Because this IC is too small, it's difficult to replace, and soldering a jumper wire by QUICK 861DW hot air rework station also is not good, so we are going to borrow 3V voltage.
- As we know, there is a 3V test point on the iPhone motherboard, use digital multimeter to measure it, so we can find out this 3V test point.
- Soldering a jumper wire from the 3V test point
- Test the iPhone camera, it can take photos now
- Apply some green UV oil on it, and then assemble the iPhone
- Turn on iPhone, enter the IOS, and then test iPhone camera function, now it works perfectly.
