Today, we are going to talk about iPhone 7 Plus front camera not working problems. The iPhone 7P front camera died by PCB board failure, here is the troubleshooting guide.

First, test iPhone front camera. Turn on the iPhone 7 Plus, get into IOS, open the iPhone camera icon, and iPhone rear camera is normal, switch it to iPhone front camera, the iPhone 7 Plus front camera not working, it displays black.
Disassemble the iPhone 7 Plus by phone opening tools, carefully remove the iPhone motherboard.
Put iPhone motherboard on the WL Aluminum Alloy Pad.
Measure the ground resistance for iPhone front camera socket J4503 by Fluke 15B+ Digital Multimeter, the data tested is normal. And then measure the iPhone front camera power supply, the data tested also is normal. However, when we measure the I2C bus, we find the voltage for I2C_NH_SCL_CONN only have 0.62V, which is abnormal.
After check the iPhone 7 Plus schematic diagram in the WUXINJI Dongle, we need to replace the resistor R4812.

Take an new resistor R4813, remove the old resistor R4812 from iPhone motherboard, and then install the new resistor R4813 by QUICK 861DW hot air rework station. After installation, measure it again, the data is normal now.
Connect iPhone display assembly to the logic board, and then turn on iPhone to test, the iPhone front camera working now.
Finally, carefully install the iPhone, get into IOS, using iPhone for a while, and then test the iPhone camera again, the iPhone front camera works perfectly, other functions also works good.
