We received an iPhone 6S to repair, the problem is that the iPhone 6S touch screen not working after dropped into water, it has no response when we touch it. The repair guide as follows.

1. Disassemble the cell phone with specific iPhone opening tools, By careful observation with magniying glass, we can see that the traces of water have been processed by the last repairman.

2. Using Fluke digital multimeter to measure the grounding resistance of display touch socket, we found the 30th pin(PP5V1_TOUCH_VDDH_CONN) power supply to the ground is short circuited.

3. According to our previous repair experience, we try to remove the +5.1V filter capacitor (C4003) of the display power to get rid of the fault.

4. Use Fluke 15B+ Digital Multimeter to measure again, we found that there was no any short circuit parts.

5. Re-stall the iPhone 6 screen(to have a test, touch function returns to normal state now.

At last, test other functions on iPhone, everything goes well. Using iPhone for several days, the iPhone works properly.
