Last week, we received an iPhone 6 need to be repaired, the problems is that first of all, the iPhone 6 fingerprint not working, and then they try to flash it, but failed and reports error 53, the worse result is the iPhone 6 won't turn on at all. Get solution to fix it.
Before we start to fix, some iPhone repair tools need to be repaired.
1. iPhone opening tools
2. DC power supply
3. digital multimeter
4. Rosin
5. hot air gun
6. microscpe
7. WUXINJI Dongle
8.tweezers

Put iPhone on the phone repair platform pads, use iPhone opening tools to disassemble iPhone, remove the iPhone motherboard.
Connect iPhone motherboard to DC power supply to test, when press the iPhone power button, the current value reaches 200-250MA. However, the current value of normal iPhone should be around 50-60 mA.
It is obvious that there is a leakage of electricity. Leakage and fingerprint failure, it can be preliminarly judged that the iPhone 6 fingerprint part has electric leakage phenomenon, resulting in fingerprint failure.
For error 53 failure, measure the 2 power supply of fingerprint. 3.0V voltage is measured low. Measure the resistance value of this circuit by Digital Multimeter, the value also is lower. So it can be judged the problem is 3.0V short-circuit.
In order to repair iPhone short circuit issue, put iPhone motherboard under the VGA Camera 7-45X Trinocular Stereo Microscope, and then you need to use hot air gun to smoke the rosin on iPhone short circuit line till the short - circuit parts turns to white.
After find the short-circuit part, open WUXINJI Dongle to check iPhone 6 bitmap, find the real position on iPhone motherboard, and then please use tweezers and other tools to remove it.
At last, test the iPhone 6 again, the data is normal now. Finally, tested functions on iPhone is good, the iPhone is back to normal work.
